VIVOBAREFOOT X Finesterre Boat/Water Shoes

The new Ultra boat and water shoes are a collaboration between VIVOBAREFOOT and Finisterre. Besides creating the longest name for a boat shoe imaginable, they’ve created a smart and comfortable, fully breathable closed-toe shoe that at first blush seems like a great solution. At YotLot we are on the constant hunt for a shoe that can be worn on and off the boat, in the dinghy and on during on shoe explorations and hikes. It’s a lot to ask of a shoe, and one of the reasons the hunt is still on. But these Ultra’s look like they have a good chance of addressing all of these needs. Furthermore, it’s the first shoe to be made using algae-based BLOOM foam – a sustainable alternative to petrochemical foams.
