Riva, considered the ‘Ferrari’ of the boat world, is located in Sarnico on Iseo Lake in the Lombardia region of Italy. Riva began in 1842 when a carpenter by the name of Peitro Riva moved there from lake Como. Riva’s Aquarama is a nautical legend. The Ariston is the less famous little brother. But experts agree the Ariston has impeccable lines and not having an aft sunbed allows for more mahogany beauty. Prince Rainier III is one of the many famous Ariston owners. The Ariston was last produced in 1974.
We found this Italian gem in Germany. It’s No. 836 of 1,000 made and was restored by RAM – the official Riva workshop in Sarnico. The seller states that everything is as good as new. The boat is 23Ft x 7ft and the refurbished 220 Crusader Riva engine pushes her to top out at 80 mph! She’s for sale by L’Arco Baleno in Berlin, Germany and can be found here.
