johnnie-O Sail Away Sneaker

Sail Away Sneaker by johnnie-O

Here’s a sweet new take on the classic lace-up sneaker, and the only pair of shoes you’ll need at the boat. They’re perfect while on board, kicking around the marina, and moping to the cafe. The colors speak coastal and we absolutely love the vulcanized rubber outsole. Not to mention the anti slip is perfect for on deck wear. The nylon fabric allows for breathing and quick drying from the summer heat and ocean spray. And the soft memory foam footbed is so comfy you can simply forget the socks!

johnnie-O Sail Away Sneaker

The shoe is a new creation by L.A. based johnnie-O. Founder John O’Donnell created the brand ten years ago to blend the West Coast lifestyle with East Coast prep — khakis with flip flops and blazers with board shorts. What’s there not to love about that?

Kuhl Shorts

KÜHL Shorts

We love umlauts and Kuhl’s application of tech fabric to every day active wear. Their new SHIFT AMFIB Men’s Short is a performance short with a modern design that works for the boat to the beach to the bar. The quick drying, DWR fabric and drainage holes in the pockets allow you to go from wet to your table’s set without needing to change.

Birdwell Board Shorts – Limited Edition

Here’s your board shorts for this spring. Carrie Birdwell Mann has been making surfer board shorts in SoCal since 1961. Inspired by the nylon sails of sailboats, she worked with textile mills on the East Coast to develop a proprietary two-ply nylon fabric that is the foundation of Birdwell Beach Britches. These durable Beach Britches were built to withstand the rigors of surfing and to be wearable for a lifetime. These dependable boardshorts are nearly 20 years old and have withstood rigorous daily use by ocean rescue lifeguards.

A new fabric has made its way into the iconic board shorts this year. Chambray can wear-in and not out. Over the years it becomes more and more handsome. This long-lasting approach is more present than ever in the new 310 Limited Edition Board Shorts.

Glerup Slippers

Rubber-Soled Slippers by Glerups

Here’s your boat slipper. Still cozy, but practical. Glerups are made in Denmark with a mix of soft white wool from New Zealand and Gotland wool that’s felted, so it has a hardier texture that’s plush without looking like it. They’re warm too, and the family that came up with them was thoughtful enough to make a version with a rubber sole that’s perfect for wearing on deck and around the marina.

They are available in various colors and in shoe and ankle boot heights for $155.

Howler Brothers Shorts
