Olukai Nohea Moku

Nohea Moku by OluKai

OluKai has definitely upped the boat shoe game with their Nohea Moku. Key is the no-tie laces and stretch bootie design. But we particularly love the drop down heel, because (let’s face it) its the way we really like to wear our shoes. And of course they are crafted with water resistant fabric and a skid resistant sole for wear on deck.

Roark Worl Flora and Fauna Collection

Flora and Fauna by Crystal Worl

We love this collaboration between Roark and indigenous Alaskan artist, Crystal Worl. The Flora and Fauna Signature Collection honors her native home’s land and sea. The term flora relates to all plant life and the term fauna represents all animal life.

Today Crystal lives in Juneau, Alaska working as a co-owner of Trickster Company with her brother Rico Worl. Trickster Company promotes innovative indigenous design focused on the Northwest Coast art and exploration of themes and issues in Native culture.

They are made with a stretchy polyester and suede shell, along with an oil-tack leather palm patch for added grip and the conductive suede on the thumb and index finger lets you use your phone. They have high-density foam to provide both warmth and protection, and a Velcro adjustment at the wrist for a secure fit.

Xtratuf Deck Boot

Xtratuf Deck Boot

With fall upon us its time for a sweet pair of deck boots. What cowboy boots are to Texans, Xtratufs are to Alaskans. Dubbed the “Alaskan Sneaker” it has been performance tested and proven across the toughest stretches of water, from the Misty Fjords to Kodiak, from the Bering Sea to Harrison Bay. Xtratuf Deck Boot

This Ankle Deck Boot has been crafted specifically for Off-Shore anglers. Xtratuf created a lightweight design with the same slip-resistant Chevron outsole found in their Legacy boots. johnnie-O Sail Away Sneaker

Sail Away Sneaker by johnnie-O

Here’s a sweet new take on the classic lace-up sneaker, and the only pair of shoes you’ll need at the boat. They’re perfect while on board, kicking around the marina, and moping to the cafe. The colors speak coastal and we absolutely love the vulcanized rubber outsole. Not to mention the anti slip is perfect for on deck wear. The nylon fabric allows for breathing and quick drying from the summer heat and ocean spray. And the soft memory foam footbed is so comfy you can simply forget the socks!

johnnie-O Sail Away Sneaker

The shoe is a new creation by L.A. based johnnie-O. Founder John O’Donnell created the brand ten years ago to blend the West Coast lifestyle with East Coast prep — khakis with flip flops and blazers with board shorts. What’s there not to love about that?

Kuhl Shorts

KÜHL Shorts

We love umlauts and Kuhl’s application of tech fabric to every day active wear. The quick drying, DWR fabric and drainage holes in the pockets allow you to go from wet to your table’s set without needing to change.

They come in 9 colors and retail for $70. And in case you were wondering, KÜHL translation in English is cool and Scandinavian slang is fun.
