The origin of this amazing 1960 motorsailer is a bit of a mystery – unknown designer, unknown builder – but her build quality, and sheer beauty, is abundantly clear. Currently in Northern Germany, Ranno is being offered in “magnificent condition” with many upgrades, beautiful stainless steel details and classic teak decking.
Her original oak hull has been professionally covered with glass to achieve and preserve the perfect finish of her dark blue hull. Her superstructure and rails are all mahogany, and the joinery work throughout is just jawdropping. She sleeps four in total, with a double berth in the forepeak, a single berth in the cabin portside and a guest berth in the saloon on starboard side. She sports a comfy looking rudder house, a full galley on the portside with an oven, stove and fridge, with lots of thoughtful storage space.
