Linqueda of the Netherlands
The history of the Netherlands is one of seafaring people thriving on a lowland river delta on the North Sea in northwestern Europe. So it’s no wonder they have mastered the barge living lifestyle. Linqueda is a remodeled 1930 Luxemotor located in Utrecht, the 3rd largest municipality in the Netherlands. She was converted into a lovely floating abode in 2004. Linqueda’s been updated beautifully throughout it’s galley, 3 cabin quarters, and full bath with separate shower. The elevated wheelhouse is nicely appointed and located in the aft.
She’s 29 meters long with a 4.4 meter beam. A DAF 757 85hp diesel engine powers her through the waterways assisted by a 20hp hydraulic bow thruster for ease of docking. Onboard power is provided by her 10kVA diesel generator.
Linqueda is moored in Utrecht and being offered by Bowcrest Marine for €490,000.
