DESTINY, a Sweet Swan 46
Who doesn’t love a sweet Swan 46? Well this one is DESTINY, an MK1 built in 1986 and she’s special. Clearly well-loved since her birth, she certainly does exhibit a “pride of ownership”, as her seller rightly declares. So much so, in fact, that she’s won her yacht club’s opening day the last 3 years in a row.
The MK1 model is an aft cockpit with center entry and a scheel keel. This model is well-known for their seakindly ways and predictable stability. DESTINY is cutter-rigged, with an in-mast furling main.
She has seen steady care and upgrades, having just completed a five-week yard period in December 2020, where her hull was completely stripped down and re-epoxied and new house stripe painted among other items.
