The Aquadive “Poseidon” is the result of collaboration from two great diving names. Aquadive, a company founded in 1962 was one of the first to introduce a 1K meter rated watch for the scuba community. Poseidon, founded in 1958, is another famed name in the diving world, having provided dive gear for both civilian and military divers and the inventor of the single hose regulator. These two brands have now teamed up on a special edition, co-branded diver, the Aquadive Poseidon GMT.
The Poseidon GMT, which is inspired by the original Aquadive Timedepth from the 1970s, and is built upon the modern Bathysphere 100 GMT. The watch is rated at 1,000 feet of water resistance and provides dual-time zone functionality. It’s housed in a 43mm x 12.5 mm stainless steel case with a dial that features Poseidon’s signature yellow branding in the form of a 24-hour ring, GMT hand and logo at 9 o’clock. The watch comes on a ISOfrane ladder style rubber strap and is limited to 300 pieces.
MSRP is $1,890, but the watches can be pre-ordered at a 25% discount for a net price of $1,395.
