We’ve always been intrigued by these Nauticat 33’s and ARCTURUS is a fine example. Known for their sturdy construction, these Finnish built motorsailers were designed by W.Aarnipalo and inspired by the stout Nordic craft often seen battling their way across a stormy Baltic. The Nauticat 33 was the first design by the original yacht company Siltala in 1966, before being renamed Nauticat in later years.
This 33 features Nauticats classic pilothouse, ideally laid out for both sailing and entertaining. This enables her to serve as a true four season boat for sailing areas like the Northwest where she currently resides.
ARCTURUS, this 1985 version, reflects a clear “pride of ownership” and remains in fine condition. She’s recently benefitted from new fuel tanks and a recently rebuilt engine. She is ready to cruise, with updated electronics including a Raymarine color LCD chartplotter and radar. Like all Nauticat Yachts, she’s built to a high standard, with warm teak interiors, solid hand-laid fiberglass hull, tidy machinery and gear installations and Seldon anodized spars.
Nauticat Yachts are built of the highest quality with warm teak interiors, solid hand-laid fiberglass hulls, tidy machinery and gear installations, Seldon anodized spars and timeless styling. ARCTURUS features the late model fin-keel hull, teak & holly sole and the current white planked headliner.
ARCTURUS is listed for $79,000 USD and lies in Anacortes, Washington.
