This 1942 Chris Craft Hydroplane is a rare collectible. The craft came with a “Warning: For Racing Only!” Equipped with a 121 Hp KB engine and 3 in-line carburetors protruded above the deck with a streamlined red and white fairing, she came to symbolize one of the fastest and most desirable Chris Crafts of the pre-war era.
We found hull #13 of 19 ever produced between 1941-42. Built for racing, they are known for its stability. Chris Craft used 3/8″ thick mahogany and #6 Reed and Prince screws to cut down on weight.
